About Us
Our story
We are Gagan and Kanupriya Arora, the husband-and-wife team behind Go Hooked. We started selling online in 2013, when e-commerce in India was still very young and Amazon had not yet launched here. We were among the early sellers on Amazon India.
In the early days there was no team. The two of us packed every order ourselves. In 2016 we registered Go Hooked as our own trademark and decided to sell everything under one name.
It has not always been easy. We have had setbacks that nearly made us shut down, and we rebuilt the business together, step by step. What kept us going is simple: we listen to our customers. Every review and every return teaches us something about our products and packaging.
For years we sourced many products from China. From 2020 we shifted our focus towards making in India.
What we make
Go Hooked is a home and garden brand. We make:
- Planters, including hanging planters and roto-moulded pots
- Home storage and organisation
- Candles and tealight holders
- Home decor
We deliver all over India.
Who we work with
Alongside homes across India, we supply bulk orders to businesses and institutions, including:
- Radisson Blu
- Restaurants of the Aditya Birla group
- Kalburgi Cement Pvt Ltd (a Vicat Group subsidiary)
- A defence establishment in Rajasthan
The founders
Kanupriya Arora, Co-founder. Kanupriya manages our entire back office.
Gagan Arora, Co-founder. Gagan has been an online seller since 2013 and leads product sourcing and our marketplace business.
We run Go Hooked together.
